After a recent move to the area, Judy is excited to be making her home on Wolfe Island.  Judy graduated in 2006 from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto and went on to practice in multi-disciplinary clinics in the Toronto area.  Her special interests include pregnancy and postnatal massage, infant massage, cancer care, and the mind-body connection in stress reduction and healing.

As a former social worker serving women and families, Judy understands the importance of a healthy therapeutic relationship to the healing process and will work along with you to help you meet your health care goals.  Since graduation, Judy has pursued further training in Reiki, Thai Yoga Massage, Infant Massage, and Craniosacral Therapy.   Judy utilizes gentle Swedish and Craniosacral techniques, as well as deep tissue massage to improve circulation, release muscular and fascial tension, improve posture and flexibility, and facilitate relaxation.

Judy is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and is a member of the Registered Massage Therapy Association of Ontario (RMTAO).  RMT’s in Ontario complete 2200 hours of education (2-3 years) in physiology, anatomy, ethics, kinesiology, remedial exercise, hydrotherapy, clinical assessment and massage techniques and must pass practical and written examinations administered by the CMTO in order to practice massage therapy in Ontario.
